We were very happy during our stay at Bahama Bay. The unit was furnished to a high standard, and had everything we needed. The unit was also a very comfortable size, 3 bdrm, 2 bath, perfect for our family of 6 ( 2 kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents) . The sofas were comfortable, and made it easy to relax after a day at the parks or in the pool! Being on the ground floor was an added bonus, no stairs to worry about with the stroller or little toddler legs! It was also handy when bringing groceries in! The bedrooms were also a good size, and having tv/dvd players in all the bedrooms was also handy to keep kids entertained when the “grown-ups” were using the living room. The Bahama bay resort was also perfect for us. The resort is well maintained, the pools and hot tub and common areas were always clean and well looked after. The pool temperature was also lovely and warm (our stay was in Jan/Feb), so it was great to swim almost everyday, and the kids didn’t get cold. Our little ones loved going to the on-site beach, and the kids’ splash pad was hours of fun for our family. The resort is well located, with Disney, Seaworld, and Universal all within a 15 to 35 min drive. There are dozens of places to eat as well, but if you don’t feel like driving, the on-site Bahama bay pizza place is pretty good. The unit and the resort were exactly as the owner described – we loved our stay here, and are already planning our 2014 return.
